A successful ON Family Day at Hellisheiði

ON Family Day was held last Sunday at the Geothermal Exhibition at Hellisheiði Power Plant and was very successful. Many visitors came to the power plant to enjoy an entertaining program for the whole family and at the same time learn how ON Power harnesses the Earth's energy to produce electricity and hot water for the community.

There was life and excitement at the Geothermal Exhibition, where Vísinda Villi, Stjörnu Sævar and Circus Iceland welcomed guests with education and entertainment for all ages. The children enjoyed face painting, balloons and taking part in a variety of activities, while both adults and children explored the exhibition and learned about the wonders of geothermal energy and its importance for everyday life.

The Family Day has established itself as a fun annual tradition at ON and is an important part of opening the doors of the power plant to the public, sparking curiosity about geothermal energy and creating positive ties with the local community.
