Fjölskyldudagur ON á Hellisheiði

ON Family Day will be celebrated on Sunday, May 12, from 1 to 3 p.m. The program will be lively and varied, and everyone should be able to find something to their liking. Science Villi will be in charge of the fun, Star Sævar will be there, and Circus Iceland will also pay a visit.

Admission to the Geothermal Exhibition will be free that day, where a family scavenger hunt will be in full swing, as well as the opportunity to learn how Orka náttúrunnar uses geothermal energy to produce electricity for the country and hot water for the capital area. The whole family can then go for a walk up to Kolviðarhóll under the guidance of historian Stefán Pálsson.

Light refreshments will be served, geothermal bread, cucumbers, tomatoes and coffee.
